Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the Bank’s International Division. Expand the international trade and cross-border financing business.
Correspondent Banking: Establish and maintain relationships with Foreign Financial Institutions (FIs) and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) like ADB and IFC.
Trade Finance Operations: Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, and Standby LCs. Process UPAS LCs and export bills.
Offshore Banking (OBU): Arrange and manage trade loans, placements, and bilateral term borrowings for Offshore Banking Units.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict compliance with AML/KYC regulations, FATCA requirements, and Bangladesh Bank reporting obligations.
Dispute Resolution: Liaise with branches and foreign correspondent banks to resolve cross-border trade disputes and operational issues.

Required Qualifications

Academic Background: Master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or English from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in International Banking or Trade Finance. At least 2 years of experience as Head or Deputy Head of an International Division.
Technical Knowledge: Strong practical experience in Nostro Account Management, SWIFT Operations, and International Banking Compliance.
